SFAI Inter-League Rules and Participation Agreement - Season 2009-2010

1. Each region will have an appointed coordinator.
2. Regional draws and fixtures will be completed and arranged locally.
3. Details of all regional fixtures to be forwarded to the General Secretary
4. Regional fixtures should commence prior to 1st December 2009
5. All group fixtures are to be played on a home or away basis only.
6. Team's level on points after group completion will be separated by goal difference.
7. All weather pitches may be used if they are in compliance with the relevant FAI rule on such pitches.
8. A reasonable level of hospitality must be provided for all traveling teams.
9. Withdrawals/walkovers will incur a fine of €250 per incident.
10. Concession of a walkover will result in a 3 - 0 score being awarded against such teams.
11. All games of a knock out nature shall, if necessary, be decided on the day by extra time and penalty kicks.
12. All games must be allocated three match officials.
13. SFAI inter-League match cards must be used for all games.
14. Each team squad shall consist of eighteen players named on the match card.
15. Substitutes can be any five players from seven named on the match card in any game.
16. Regional group winners play offs will be played on 10th/11th April 2010 with home advantage via an open draw.
17. Munster/Leinster r/up play offs will be played on 17th/18th Apr 2010 with home advantage via an open draw.
18. National semi finals will be played on 24th/25th April 2010 with home advantage via an open draw.
19. National Finals will be played on 22nd /23rd May 2010 at venue/s to be decided.
20. All entries are accepted on the strict understanding that League's have a viable team at each age group entered.
21. All entries are accepted on the strict commitment that League's will fulfill all fixtures independent of its    fixtures at any other age group in these competitions.
22. Fixtures postponed for reasons of pitch unplayability home advantage will be conceded for the re-fixture.
23. Fixtures started and abandoned due to weather or pitch conditions, home advantage will be conceded for the re-fixture
24. Overall responsibility and control shall rest with the SFAI General Secretary whose decisions shall be final.
