Premiership Clubs Signed NDSL Players
Congratulation to Jonny Poambe of Corduff Fc and Zack Elbouzedi of Malahide Fc
Congratulation to Johnny Poambe-Corduff FC and Zach Elbouzedi - Malahide FC. Both have signed 3/4 year professional deals at two Premiership Clubs . Johnny with Sunderland and Zach with West Brom they will be departing in June next year to start their new careers in professional football . Both have played in the NDSL since 8/9 years of age and have played in the Kennedy Cup and Milk Cup with NDSL Academy Squads, both were also members of last season’s Irish U15 squads , with both of them scoring a number of goals at International Level they were also in the Ireland squad that won lasts years Galway Cup Tournament with Johnny been voted Player of the Tournament.
It is a great testament to their clubs, managers and coaches in the NDSL League that we produce players of this quality. Also great credit must go to all the coaches over the years in the NDSL Academy that have also helped in their development and given them the opportunity to play at the highest level.
We wish the lads and their families the very best of luck in their pathways and now is when the real support needs to be shown to help these lads have successful careers in a extremely tough environment.
